Supportive tutoring for A Level and GCSE Physics and Maths

What we do

We offer specific and tailored support for those sitting their A Levels or GCSEs in Maths and/or Physics. We aim to not only improve understanding of a subject but confidence too. By the time exam season comes, students will be fully prepared for their exams. With past paper questions, personalised notes, revision timetables and your commitment, we can really push to get you the best grades possible. Included in your tutoring package is free access to the Physics Online Premium Plan.

Who we are

Cattermole Tutoring is a family run tutoring service. Brothers Joe and Will provide online tutoring whilst working together to share resources, tips, demonstrations etc. We both have degrees in Physics as well as GSCEs and A Levels in Physics and Maths, all at A*, and have been helping support others’ studies, assisting teaching or tutoring since our GCSEs. Together, we work as a team to provide as supportive a service as possible. Whilst your lessons will be taken by either one of us, we work together to ensure you get the support you need. We also pull on the experience of our dad who is an experienced Physics and Maths teacher and teacher trainer, with a PhD in Physics Education. Supporting others’ learning is second nature to us.

Tutoring that suits you

Lessons can be an hour (£50) or an hour and a half (£70) in length. They can also be done on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting. Small group tutoring offers different benefits than one-to-one as well as being cheaper. We do recommend one-to-one tutoring for students who are struggling. If students are based in Bristol, we can explore the option of face-to-face tutoring, where possible, as this can increase engagement from the student.

What’s included

We provide a tutoring package that includes your lessons, as well as: access to the Physics Online Premium Plan, structured revision plans, personalised lessons tailored to your needs, online support outside of our lessons and resources to help you revise. You also have the support, knowledge and experience of a tutoring team who work together and discuss how to best support you.
